Youth

Picture this...you are out for a Sunday drive with no destination in mind. You come to a fork in the road and you have no preference on which way to go...you choose one. Everything is going along just fine and you are enjoying the ride. Eventually you notice that the road is starting to get a bit bumpy, but you pay it no mind. A little further down the road you realized that you are starting to scrape bottom, and there is no end in sight to the deteriorating condition...you have no clue where you are...you are lost. What are your choices?

Now, let's say this was not a Sunday drive, and that this is your life based on past choices. God always allows us to make a U-Turn!!! The next time we come to that fork in the road we are facing it with new information. We can either elect to follow the other path, or we come back more prepared, in our 4x4, ready for the poor conditions. Either way, God will be there with us, and will ALWAYS allow us the choice of a U-TURN...no need to be Lost anymore!

U-Turn is the Youth Ministry program at Lake Wylie Lutheran Church. It is where we come to learn what is needed of us as the youth of today to better equip us as the leaders of tomorrow! We study God's word, enjoy each other’s company and friendship, we eat great meals together, and most of all we draw closer to GOD!!!

U-Turn meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month:

1st Sunday:

- U-TURN - A topic based, multi-media discussion designed to bring us closer to God, each other, and ourselves. For all Middle School Students, and any High School Students who wish to attend.
- HIGH SCHOOL APOLOGETICS - A discussion based meeting for High School Students designed around equipping us all in order to defend our faith!
DINNER 6:15 - 6:30pm; MEETING 6:30 - 7:30pm

3rd Sunday:

Combined Middle and High School service based activities, and/or, fellowship activities. Schedule varies, so keep an eye out!
